Ringo the Platypus

I made this as a Christmas present for my brother 

Allow me introduce you to the amusing Ringo, the platypus!.
It’s a platypus (don’t ask me why, but my bro seems to like these creatures. The problem is … that I couldn’t find any plush of them in the stores. They were unbelievably sold out O___O !!  So I decided to give a try and create one by myself).

I’m very proud of this one : I made the body with kind-of-plush fabric; The beak and legs are made of felt (also added lines for the nostrils and fingers), and the eyes are sewed (and move!). I also created the pattern.

Did I mention that this was honestly the second time that I picked a needle in my entire life?

Éste fué un regalo de Navidad para mi hermano  .

Dejadme presentaros al simpático Ringo, el ornitorrinco!.
Es un ornitorrinco (no me preguntéis por qué pero a mi hermano parece que le gustan estos bichos. El problema es que … no pude encontrar ninguno en las tiendas. Y no porque no hubiera, sino porque estaban inexplicablemente agotados O___O !! Así que decidí probar a hacer uno yo).

Estoy muy orgullosa de éste peluche : Hice el cuerpo con tela como de borreguito; El pico y las patitas están hechos de fieltro (añadí también líneas para los agujeros de la nariz y los dedos), y los ojos están cosidos (y se mueven!). También me inventé el patrón.

¿He mencionado que es realmente la segunda vez que cojo una aguja en toda mi vida?

Questo era un regalo di Natale per mio fratello .

Lasciatemi presentarvi al divertente Ringo, l’ornitorinco!.
È un ornitorinco (non chiedetemi perché, ma sembra che a mio fratello gli piacciono queste creature. Il problema era ... che non riuscivo a trovare nessun peluche di loro nei negozi. Erano tutti incredibilmente esauriti O___O! Così avevo deciso di provare a fare uno per conta mia).

Sono molto orgogliosa di questo peluche  : Il corpo è fatto con ... pile? (non so come si dice in italiano); Il becco e le zampe in feltro (aggiunsi anche rigue di filo per le narici e le dita), e i suoi occhi sono cuciti (e si muovono!). Ho creato il disegno anch’io. 
 
 Ho detto già che questa è stata onestamente la seconda volta che ho preso un ago in tutta la mia vita?
